I went to summer camp.

Well not really. I took the Summer Camp Shawl class at Mosaic Yarn Studio in Des Plaines. Trust me, this indoor girl would not be going camping. lol

The staff at Mosaic was very helpful with yarn selection since I can not wear wool. Finding the right substitution is always tricky when it comes to getting the right draping. In the process I found a new yarn to love, CoBaSi from Skacel. It's a little splity, but OMG, I love the way it feels and drapes.

The beginning of the shawl was tricky to figure out so I was very glad to have the expertise of the staff to help out. I probably should have gone in to ask about the last bit of the directions, which I totally didn't understand. Instead I simply bound off after the last of the "peaks". Works for me and it still looks finished. I don't notice anything missing so I'm good with it.

I love the colors. I love the finished piece. I love that it looks just as good on the reverse side as the front. Overall - I love it!

    1. Thank you. I am very pleased with how it turned out. The blue is HiKoo CoBaSi by Skacel the beige is Linea Pura Solo Lino by Lana Grossa. I bought both at my local LYS.
